What’s New
Last Friday, a group of Fenwick students engaged in Sources of Strength Peer Mentor training. The day was full of activities and interactions aimed at familiarizing the group with the tenets of the program while challenging them to identify their own strengths and supports. These leaders will assist a team of faculty as they promote “Hope, Health, and Strength” throughout our school community. Stay tuned for updates on our future campaigns.
The course selection process for the 2024-2025 school year begins next week. Teachers will be discussing their recommendations with students. Counselors will then meet with each grade level to explain the process in detail. Students should be prepared to discuss their course selections with parents by February 22.
Flock Block with the Counselors
Sophomores were introduced to Olweus Bully Prevention Roles. Beyond the grade school model of bully, victim and bystander, the students contemplated a variety of other roles one could take in a bullying scenario.
Class of 2025
Juniors were emailed the second half of their Birkman results. During Flock Block they worked through Career Clarity Module 3. All juniors now have access to their entire Birkman report and should have it saved to their Class of 2025 Class Notebook.

Mental Wellness Tip
With Valentines Day rapidly approaching, please take a moment to read some insightful thoughts courtesy of Mr. Fred Rogers:
“When we talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting. And less scary. The people we trust with that talk can help us know that we are not alone. Love is at the root of all learning, all relationships…love or the lack of it. Everyone longs to be loved and the greatest thing we can do is to let people know they are loved and are capable of loving.”
