October 12, 2022
If the somewhat pithy claim that “Teamwork makes the dream work” is true, then the team at Sonoma County Tourism is living proof. This ensemble of 22 people is a group all of Sonoma County can be proud of. Kira’s recognition as one of the industry’s emerging leaders, as noted below, is a great example of the talent, dedication and passion of the SCT team at all levels. This is a team that has helped drive revenue into the County through fires, floods and a pandemic; a team that has brought home national awards for campaigns and initiatives; a group that has lifted up partners during times of need and developed alliances where none historically existed. It’s also a team that hates tooting its own horn, so it’s my pleasure to give a shoutout to an exceptionally professional, talented and committed group of proud Sonoma Countians. If you’d like to see who’s on the team, follow this link to the SCT staff listing. I hope you’ll have a chance to connect with this team and learn more about how SCT can elevate your business.

The English language version of the map remains available for consumers to order through sonomacounty.com, with partners encouraged to order cases (450 maps per box) through the Hospitality Hub.

Leave No Trace Video Series
Sonoma County Tourism is pleased to unveil a new series of videos outlining the Sonoma County Leave No Trace Seven Principles. This video series was produced by the Santa Rosa-based production company, Definition Films, with the support of Sonoma County Regional Parks and Leave No Trace.
Each of the seven videos runs approximately 90 seconds in length and illustrates the core concepts of a particular principle of Leave No Trace. Partners are welcome to embed the videos on their websites and share them on their social media channels. The video series is also available to view and share in Spanish here.

In addition to the videos, partners can now access high resolution photos from the Sonoma County Leave No Trace Coalition toolkit. These images, captured during the Leave No Trace video shoot, are great visual aids for social media posts promoting the important message of Leave No Trace.
