Early Childhood Education Events reach 740 parents and kids in Feb.

In the month of February, our experienced team of IdahoPTV Education Specialists traversed the state offering kindergarten readiness events, live premieres of the new preschool PBS series Work It Out Wombats, family STEM nights, and more in Hayden Lake, Coeur d'Alene, Burley, American Falls, Mountain Home, Chubbuck, Moscow, Potlach, Challis, Ketchum, Caldwell, Garden Valley, Glenn's Ferry, Rupert, and Arco.

Kids and parents in Hayden Lake, Coeur d'Alene, and Moscow, came to our community Work It Out Wombats premieres and activity events in February.

Among the many IdahoPTV Education events in February were Kindergarten Readiness and STEM programs Coeur d'Alene, American Falls, and Rupert.

Self-paced Learning for Teachers of Pre-K through Second Grade

With FREE tools from PBS KIDS, explore ways to integrate media-rich lesson plans in Pre-K, kindergarten, first- and second-grade classrooms and empower students to expand their natural curiosity and understanding of the seasons.

New Student Privacy Settings in PBS LearningMedia

As part of PBS LearningMedia’s continued efforts to safeguard student data, we're asking all teachers who use our free assignment and class roster tools to provide some additional information. Tools such as Lesson Builder, Class Roster, and Quick Assign will now prompt you to provide your public school district and acknowledge the PBS LearningMedia privacy agreement. You may also visit your Profile at any time, click on Student Privacy and follow the instructions.

Exoplanets: March Science Trek

Each month, Science Trek explores a different topic, with short videos available on the Science Trek website, YouTube, and LearningMedia.

Our website has facts, games, links and lesson plans aligned to Idaho & national science standards.
