WVNCC Celebrates Black History Month
As we conclude Black History Month, WVNCC's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee would like to remind you to carry forward the lessons learned, the stories shared, and the legacies honored.
Let us strive for a society where equity, justice, and inclusivity are not just aspirations but realities for all.
Remember that the celebration of Black history is not limited to a single month, but should be woven into the fabric of our collective consciousness every day of the year.

Help Save a Life with a ONEbox Opiod/Naloxone Emergency Kit
Every building on campus is supplied with a ONEbox Opiod/Naloxone Emergency Box.
ONEbox is used for an opioid overdose and contain two doses of Narcan. If you suspect someone on campus is having an opioid overdose, immediately call 911. Then, retrieve the ONEbox, open, and pull the red tab for emergency instructions. Step-by-step video instructions will begin. Follow these instructions and you can help save a life!
ONEboxes are easy to use even if you haven’t been to a Naloxone/Narcan training.
ONEbox’s are typically located near our first aid stations.
Ask any WVNCC employee or faculty for the ONEbox location in your building.
