World Kindness Week

In celebration of Kindness Week, we invite all PES Parrots to wear a red shirt or a shirt with a kind message.

STEAM & Literacy Night - February 21

Join us for a night to remember on Wednesday, February 21st. Pinecrest Elementary will open its doors for students, siblings, and their parents to learn and create. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the duration of the event. This evening is FREE and a great way to see what makes Pinecrest the best school around!

Please read below for our schedule of events. We hope it aides you in planning ahead so that you may enjoy as much as possible. In addition to what you see below, we will have a BIG, we mean MASSIVE, surprise for students on our PE fields!

Entry to the event is on SW 57th Avenue. Look for our Student Council Representatives who will greet you upon your arrival with a special touch in hard. Our Fifth Grade Committee will sell pizza and treats, and Kona Ice will be there to cool us down while we STEAM through the evening and BURN through some literary masterpieces!

More about the MDCC PTA: The goal of the Miami-Dade County Council PTA/PTSA is to keep parents informed about state and local proposed legislation and current policy relative to the education, safety, and well-being of Florida’s children. In the context of PTA, advocacy is supporting and speaking up for children – in schools, in communities, and before government bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children.
