Cub Scout Pack 2831 wrapped up an action-packed summer with a thrilling 3.75-mile mountain biking adventure in Chesterfield! 🚴‍♂️ Along the trail, they revisited cycling fundamentals and uncovered the vital importance of safety in this exhilarating sport. What a fantastic way to cap off a season of fun and discovery!

Fishing Gear Donated to Camp, and Lake Dillon Reservations

Special thanks go to Discover the James, Inc. and the Cohoke Fishing Club for the donation of over 20 rods and reels for fishing at the lakes and pond at the Goochland Reservation. In addition, large boxes of hooks, sinkers, bobbers and lures were also donated. The lakes and pond at the Reservation are stocked with at least five species of game fish that are ready to be caught. Did you know you can reserve boating and fishing time on Lake Dillon?

Basic Shotgun and Basic Pistol Shooting Training

These all-day classes are the introductory NRA courses in pistol or shotgun shooting, designed to provide adults with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to safely handle a firearm. The course covers firearm selection, firearm safety, storage, ammunition selection, failure to fire, firearm cleaning, and more. Intro. to Leadership Skills for Troops: August 24th

The purpose of ILST is to teach Scouts with leadership positions about their new roles and how to most effectively reach success in that role. It is intended to help Scouts in leadership positions within their troop understand their responsibilities and to equip them with organizational and leadership skills to fulfill those responsibilities. Registration is open for the August 24th course in Tappahannock.
