Making Heart Connections Happen - September 2022

In September, GMHS helped 39 pets meet their match. Pictured are just a few of the happy, adoption day photos. Thank you to those who chose to open their heart and home to a formerly homeless pet!

Could you be the next to make a heart connection?

The generous support of staff, volunteers, and donors enables GMHS to provide daily care, cover special medical needs, foster animals in homes as needed, and arrange transportation to adoption-guaranteed partners. We are also committed to education, outreach, and transparency. Our annual statistics are available on our website, and we also offer you a monthly snapshot.

Mark Your Calendar: Community Event Benefitting GMHS

GMHS' dear friend Dr. Rudy Shackelford will offer a concert at Bethany United Methodist Church in Gloucester to benefit GMHS.

The concert will be held Sunday, December 11, at 4 PM, and will celebrate the 200th birthday of French composer and organist Cesar Franck.

The concert is free and open to the public, and monetary donations and pet supplies will be accepted for GMHS.

Thank you, Dr. Shackelford, for sharing your talents and heart for homeless pets wtih GMHS!

Autumn is a time for pumpkins, fall leaves, and cooler temperatures but there are dangers specific to the Fall season to be aware of to keep your pets safe.
