QuitLine provider transition



Applicable to: Mercy Care Complete Care, Mercy Care DD, Mercy Care DCS CHP, Mercy Care Long Term Care, Mercy Care ACC-RBHA, and Mercy Care Advantage

                           

 

As of October 1, 2022 the ASHLine provider is now National Jewish Health at the University of Colorado. 


New phone number

  • The ASHLine phone number is 1-800-QUIT-NOW (1-800-784-8669)
  • Spanish speakers can also access the ASHLine by calling 1-855-DEJELO-YA (1-855-335-3569)
  • The new ASHLine fax number is 1-800-261-6259, the old fax number will be disconnected on December 30, 2022


Access ASHLine

  • Anyone in the provider organization can make a referral to the ASHLine, including physicians, clinical staff, therapy staff, and other individuals
  • People can sign up for the ASHLine either by phone or web
  • Program participants can chat with ASHLine coaches online at ASHLine.org
  • A suite of digital services, including an interactive web-based cessation program, interactive online forums, coaching via chat, as well as email and text support, is now available
  • Live, telephonic coaching is available 24/7
  • Both HIPAA-covered entities and non-covered entities can refer people to the ASHLine
  • Only HIPAA-covered entities will receive feedback from the ASHLine about their referrals


Web Referrals

Providers can refer patients to the ASHLine either by phone or completing an online form. Please share these forms with all clinical staff, as the current referral forms do not have the most up-to-date content. 

Providers can also refer patients to the ASHLine via fax.
