HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY FRIENDS, |
One of the most well-known verses of LOVE
in the Bible comes from John 3:16, and it's all about love:
"For God so loved the world that he gave his
only begotten son so that whoever believes
in him shall have everlasting life."
We talk a great deal about LOVE in February, and we should! Love is to be celebrated! And when it comes to Success, nothing is a more powerful motivator than LOVE for Others and Self.
My hope this February, which contains both a celebration of love and a celebration of Black History Month, you'll grab hold of the inspirational power of LOVE--not only
this month, but on every day of the year.

A WORD ABOUT BLACK HISTORY MONTH
|
|
|
Black History Month & Theme for 2022 |
Black History Month is an annual observance originating in the
United States, where it is also known as African American History Month. It began as a way of remembering important people and events in the history of the African diaspora.
It is celebrated in February in the United States and Canada, while
in Ireland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, it is observed
in October.
Again, the Theme for Black History this year is: "Black Health and Wellness," as set by ASALH (Association for the Study of African American Life and History). The special emphasis this year is on healthcare access and improving wellness.
The events this year are a bit different than in previous years
because of the pandemic and political restrictions on the teaching
of various Black History lessons and facts--
Thus, Black History is also American History.
