The daily schedules have changed slightly this school year with Viking Compass classes moving to Tuesdays and Thursdays; Wednesdays will remain late-start days with all students beginning at 9:00 a.m. See the new daily schedule below:

H-F continues to follow the Illinois Department of Public Health recommendations for schools (click here). We encourage those students and staff who can get the COVID-19 vaccination and booster to do so. Masking will be optional this year for those who choose to wear one. Last year, H-F provided the opportunity to opt-in to on-site SHIELD testing; however participation did not meet the suggested threshold numbers. Therefore, as this school year begins we will not be offering SHIELD testing. The administration will continue to assess our local situation and can adjust the plan as needed. We will, however, continue to maintain the D233 COVID-19 Dashboard on our website (click here) and will follow the CDC, IDPH and CCDPH guidelines as we mitigate COVID to the best of our abilities. Families are encouraged to continue using the D233 COVID Reporting Form found here.

Each school year H-F is required to collect medical records for the following groups of students:

• Incoming Freshmen & Transfer Students: Proof of your high school physical examination (not a sports physical), proof of your dental examination, plus your immunization records or religious exemption form is needed.

• Class of 2023 Seniors: 12th Graders must provide health records showing the administration of the meningococcal immunization. To be in compliance, two doses of the vaccination must be administered, with one dose administered on or after your 16th birthday. If only one dose was received, it must be administered on or after your 16th birthday.

To set up a new lunch account for this school year, please follow these steps:

• Step 1: Request your student’s unique verification code by emailing [email protected] or calling 708-248-0476.

• Step 2: Set up your RevTrak account to connect students to your login and to add money to the account throughout the school year. Access RevTrak here.

• Step 3: Set up an account with MySchoolAccount to view foodservice menus, check account balances and see purchases made by your student with their ID throughout the year. Access MySchoolAccount here.

RevTrak will be used to add funds via credit card; funds can also be added via cash payments or checks (made payable to Quest Foodservice) brought to the H-F Business Office in the North Building.
