Fredericton Dinner
The MSA invites you to join us for our annual Fredericton fundraising dinner on October 5th at the Fredericton Inn. This year, we will be honouring MSA's long time cheerful champion - Jo-Anne Linton. For the better part of 20 years, Jo-Anne was the heart and soul of the MSA was instrumental in the organization and execution of MSA fundraising dinners. Her endless enthusiasm and has truly helped to make the MSA the thriving organization it is today. MSA Saint John Dinner Set for November 4th
On November 4th, the MSA will be hosting our annual Saint John Autumn Dinner and Auction at the Delta Brunswick . We welcome you to join us for what is sure to be a fun filled evening! The evening will feature a delicious meal and some fun raffles. In addition, we will have an exciting auction featuring some excellent fishing trips, works of art, and other items of interest to the Atlantic salmon enthusiast. We look forward to seeing you there! Salmon Pools Reopened in the Miramichi
High water temps and hot days had put a damper on salmon fishing in the Miramichi, but after some cooler nights and improved conditions, the 29 pools in the Miramichi River watershed that were previously closed will be reopening August 12th, 2022.

Cold Water Pool Maintenance
MSA Biologist Lyndsay, and the MSA field crew, have been working hard maintaining cold water pools on the Miramichi River. Each year, our team revisits ten cold water pools to clean up obstructions and make sure that the pools are functioning and providing refuge for salmon.
