President's Message

Thanks to everyone for attending the FL CCIM Chapter meetings at the FR Mid-Winter Conference, in Orlando. It was nice to be face to face with members from across the state. The Red R Commercial Networking and Global Mixer, sponsored by Florida REALTORS, was a huge success.  Looking forward to an even larger turnout this coming August.

My sincere appreciation to Chapter Past Presidents Adam Palmer, CCIM and Gary Ralston, CCIM for conducting the installation ceremony of our new 2024 leadership team. It was truly an honor. I would like to shine a special spotlight on Cynthia Shelton, CCIM for volunteering to share her time and talent, by presenting the “Overview of Commercial Real Estate Basics.” The positive feedback and enthusiasm from attendees were fantastic. Congratulations to Stephen Rigl, CCIM, recipient of the 2023 Hank Thompson award, which is an honor bestowed to those that have made a significant impact for our Chapter. The District of the Year was awarded to the Ft. Lauderdale-Broward District for their outstanding achievements in 2023. Special recognition was given to the Panhandle and North Districts (Phoenix Award winners) for their ongoing efforts in making their Districts successful.

To all 2024 committee leaders and volunteers, I am grateful for your time, expertise, and dedication to the FL CCIM Chapter. You've officially joined the ranks of the trailblazers, the visionaries, and CRE leaders who are poised to make a difference in the future of our chapter. Special acknowledgement to our 2024 FL CCIM Chapter Sponsors and District sponsors. Thanks to your unique partnerships, we can provide valuable resources, events, and opportunities to our membership. Your continued support is deeply appreciated!

We have a great year planned for you! Check out our education programs and stay tuned for upcoming virtual education and social events. I encourage you to get involved with your local districts and consider visiting another Florida district, as well. Each district has its own unique dynamics and resources. Please take advantage of the opportunity to connect with like-minded commercial real estate experts, colleagues, and partners across Florida.

See you at our next event!
