"Shifting the Compass Needle "

“Where are we going? I don’t know, but we’re on our way.” Armed with paper Michelin maps, a rented German vehicle, and a spirit of adventure for three+ weeks, we drove through many countries of western Europe with our then 18 month old son. My now ex-husband was just finishing Med School on a Military Scholarship with the Army. There was a possibility of being stationed in Germany, and we thought it would be good to see if Germany was a place we wanted to spend four years.

The autobahn was a unique experience—and we were passed at 113 mph like we were standing still! Utility bills we learned were not itemized, but just handed out. The streets of Italy were marked with tiny oxidized bronze signs that one could see only after passing the street that you wanted to turn on. We entered one hotel’s car parking lot driving backwards down a one-way alley, and ice in your beverage was a rare commodity! In retrospect, the villages, towns and cities were like individuals—all had personalities—some you loved and wanted to stay forever, and some it was better, just to pass through.

Overall however, the people we met along the way were wonderful. Joshua was given smiles, hugs, cookies, sausages and candies. Once we figured out "kinderpapers" were diapers, and replaced the stroller that came out of baggage claim missing two wheels, over a holiday weekend, the trip was a resounding success. But, I did miss home, and after the time away, I was glad to be back in my own bed.

It seemed to me, this was an excellent metaphor for the shifting sands and unknown land we find ourselves now. There is no normal. We are in a foreign land. And this time, there is no going back. At the epicenter of this vertical quagmire, is the shift of human consciousness. UltimatelyI know everything is a leveling up, yet, sometimes it’s hard to see. Growth after all seems to go in spurts. Lately the revelation of ugliness and the deep tentacles are not pleasant to see. But sometimes you have to walk through the morass to see the Light. We are, and have been doing this these last few years—as the compass needle is being reset. We are seeing things that we haven’t wanted to look at before or were hidden behind a deep veil of secrecy. Yet it’s now in our face. But, just like that pile of old junk in the garage, closet, basement or underneath the kitchen sink, it always gets worse before it gets better, especially when you start pulling everything out. The bugs, spills and stuff that no longer fit is no fun to face. That’s what happening now on a planetary scale. Grab your multidimensional scrub brush.

Fortunately, because of our highest global intention, we have help! Here’s were things get a little woo woo, but interesting. It’s sacred and it’s good, and it’s the “power washer” that’s been in place to help us for a vey long time. Stay with me here for a few more minutes, please.

There are cracks in the sidewalk and the new shoots are seeing the Light. Notice any lately? I have. It happens slowly. Yet, people seem to be waking up. Call it our Soul agreement if your want; we are here by design. We are boots on the ground. We are the Light. (Most of us anyway.) And the free choice to be so. Yet, there are many sacred unseen forces at work which we haven’t acknowledged and don’t see. But, just because we don’t see them, doesn’t mean we don’t have help! The push and pull energy coming from nulls and nodes. All very esoteric goodies . . . and more.

1.) All the nulls and nodes are kind of time capsules with quantum energies that were put in place 200,000 years ago, and have been activated. (There is no “time” with multidimensional or quantum energies.) There are 12 pairs placed throughout the earth. When they're activated, which they have been, the nulls of the Earth collect the negativity of the planet from the grids, which would contain war, disappointment, horror, sorrow. They collect this in their areas. They push them toward their match, the node. The node is almost like a “sacred sun”. It takes all the negativity that has been collected and pushes it toward the node, which “burns it up”. This allows for a new time, and new revelations and insights. Why? Bottom line: “The rainbow bridges that you are, will have far greater opportunities to be the warriors of the light that you came here to be.” They are here for us!

2.) Astrology and it’s influence are weighing in, too. Pluto is moving into Aquarius in March. Pluto is known as the great transformer. In Aquarius, it intensifies humanitarian things, which is an Aquarian trait; making the world a better place. Pluto is here to reveal corruption, integrity, transparency and accountability. It’s picking up where Capricorn left off. Capricorn is the sign connected with Big banking, governments, corporations and large institutions that weld power. Have we seen any of that lately?

3.) The other generational planet, Saturn enters Pisces the first part of March as well. These shifts benefit us, and to help us enable us to understand how much power we have. Pisces energy brings with it traits like a “knowing deep within”. Pisces is also an emotional sign, deeply empathic and spiritual. We are “sheep” in transition to shepherd… a metaphor meaning that the new energy is about individual empowerment. The result of massive individual empowerment is not chaos, but rather a collective wisdom. These two outer generational planets reflect societal goings-on, and events that will impact entire communities of people rather than “just you”. Are you starting to feel the impact of this shift?

4.) As the Light becomes more powerful on the planet. We are enlightened too, by our choices. Enlightenment is power. Darkness is the absence of Light. Light is active. Darkness is not. As we give intention to step into our power, true divine power, we affect many others. We are the change. And we are the ones that we have been waiting for. We are the ones creating this change. Mastery is beginning to awaken within.

5.) March normally comes in “like a lion and leaves as a lamb”. I don’t think that will exactly play out this year. March is a three—the third month of the year. A three carries with it a catalyst energy, meaning it changes things around it. This swirling catalyst energy is the combination of many things and the darkness is beginning to run as they throw everything at us—including that rusty dirty kitchen sink! Let’s use our collective Light to create the joy, and our powerful creative inner child energy to stand up in courage no matter what we hear on the news. If you’ve ever watched a child in action, you know they can move mountains!

6.) Years ago the magnetic grid shifted. It shifted more in those ten years than it had in 100. But, it was to help us move in the direction we find ourselves in now, with greater awareness and light. Magnetics is tied to our consciousness, and consciousness is tied to our enlightenment and spiritual things. This is why we see so clearly now—the “war” of Light and Dark. And, I remind you again, LIGHT IS WINNING! Turn on your Light sabers—you are the Light!

7.) And lastly, Climate change. Do not go to FEAR on this either. This Climate change we are in, is a NORMAL cycle of the earth. We don’t live long enough to observe such changes. However, there are many honest scientists out there who describe a very different reality than what we are being told by the mainstream media. The ice core samples and tree rings are verification of its truth. Esoterically, the earth is refreshing the oceans, so the fish thrive, to supply us with food for years to come. It’s really cause for celebration and another example of our relationship with Gaia, or Mother Earth.

So just like my trip to Europe so long ago, where our motto was “we are on our way”, stays with me today. We are really not lost in a in a foreign land, but instead rediscovering our collective power; sheep to Shepard. We get to do our part, staying in the Light of Love, Optimism, Trust and Hope. It’s an adventure who’s ending hasn’t been written, because we are the ones writing this story day by day, and we are certainly “on our way”. We don’t have to know the details in order for each of us to stand in our personal power of Love and Light—for that’s who we Truly ARE! We may miss the familiar, but we are cleaning things up to make it better for our personal sovereignty, not the future the all too eager WEF would like to force us into. (World Economic Forum)

So, now, go Shine your Light, as the Lightworker you are. And be the catalytic energy of March that continues to move the compass needle forward toward a world of peace, integrity, joy and a greater appreciation for our expanding consciousness. Wahoo! Welcome to March!

Connect the Dots: Emotions and Disease: The Mind-Body Connection
“A successful therapy requires harmony of the physical and psychological functions in order to achieve a restoration of the body in its entirety.”
       - Dr. Max Gerson, MD

Two-year-old Tony, witnesses his brother—Gary—10 months younger than himself, get “run over by the neighbor lady” and killed in front of the family home. His parents never speak of the event again. He doesn’t even know where his brother is buried. Does this trauma have anything to do with his rectal cancer 64 years later?

As a young girl, Joan found herself lost in a central market in downtown LA. She still remembers the visual of her mother running toward her—“hands outstretched and crying when she saw me”. At 7, she explains, I experienced the trauma of attempted abduction—at 8 I blamed myself for the death of the family dog because he ran out the door and was hit by a car and killed—or the near drowning several years later—or a dozen other severely traumatic events which took place. Could these early child-hood events have caused her weight problem, her recurring cancer, diabetes and arthritis?

For over 4,000 years, traditional Chinese medicine has been a system based on the notion of harmony and balance. As we move from the immune system to the thymus, this will become even more apparent to us. The ancient doctors of India were great sages, and their cardinal belief was that the body is created out of consciousness. Theirs was a medicine of consciousness, and their way of treating disease pierced the body’s matter and went deeper into the core of mind. You decide.

What Does this mean?

Eyes
~Martel
My eyes are the mirrors of my Soul. They enable me to see outside and through them, I express all the emotions and feelings that I experience inside of me. According to their depth, it is possible to discover my relations with the outside world. The functioning of my eyes reflects the way I see life and my relation with it. They also represent the fact of seeing clearly in my own life and inside of me. They reflect the look I cast on things. They indicate how information external to me is transmitted inside of me. If there is any interference, rejection or resistance in relation to the information in contact with my eyes, the latter react strongly. If I have difficulty seeing clearly in a situation or if the truth seems hidden, my eyes cloud up. If I have difficulty with what I am seeing, my understanding is poor and my eyes react. My eyes are affected if I experience any difficulty in dealing with the truth, reality or the future. Each eye represents a special aspect of my being.

Messages of Sacred Geometry and Mystical Symbols
by Deborah De Lisi
Flower of Love (43)
The Artist' s Understanding . . .

"As the root of this art is the Seed of Life sacred geometry: seven interconnected circles. Along with this art is the strangest story in this deck. As a graphic designer and illustrator, I was working on a product label for a client. I was adding type for the label design when suddenly, all the type disappeared and was replaced with this pattern. Type and graphics require different tools, and I could not get the type to do anything except this pattern. This was a Flower of Life but doubled. Intricate details of this complex shape form a curved Merkabah and a hexagon. It gives the feeling of amplified radiance. I became so enamored with the energy of this unexpected geometry that I named it the Flower of Love.

About the Creator of this deck: This deck is designed by artist Deb DeLisi. This deck is created as a tool for finding meaning in symbols. She writes, "There 's a purity in discovering a language that is free of words. A symbol can be understood by people speaking different tongues. The shape of a heart is an example of a symbol that is understood globally. It signifies love. A star is another symbol that shows up throughout many and cultures.
Much of what archeologists decipher from ancient civilizations comes from the symbols they left behind. These visual expressions carry an enormous amount of information and reveal a story. Timeless geometric symbols express divine relationships and a feeling of how the cosmos works. I invite you to do as the ancient ones did: find personal meaning and insights into the world around you through the symbols in these 44 cards." Recipe of the Month:
🍃Crock Pot Ham & Bean Soup 🍃

Bon Appetite!

Country
🍃Crock Pot Ham & Bean Soup 🍃
YIELD: 8-10 Servings
Ingredients:
  • 2 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 bunch fresh carrots
  • 6 stalks celery
  • 1 pound dry navy beans, soaked overnight
  • 1 ham bone or 2-3 smoked ham hocks
  • 2 whole bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon fresh thyme
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Freshly cracked pepper
  • 1½ teaspoon Sea salt

Directions:
  • First, this recipe takes a little planning, only, because dried Navy Beans need to soak overnight. You can boil them, and prep them that way, but I find soaking them in water overnight is easy and painless! Boil away if you like!

  • When you beans are ready, mince the garlic, dice the onion, slice the celery, and slice the carrots into thin rounds and put them in your crock pot--now known as a 'slow cooker'.
  • Add olive oil, garlic, onion, celery, and carrots to a large slow cooker.

  • Drain the beans and sort through them, and remove any debris or stones.
  • Quickly rinse the beans and add them to the slow cooker, along with the bay leaf, rosemary, thyme, paprika, and some freshly cracked pepper and ham bone.
  • Add six cups of water to the slow cooker. Stir carefully to combine the ingredients.

  • Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook for 8 hours on low or on high for 4-5 hours.

  • After 8 hours, stir the soup and mash the beans one cup of the soften beans slightly to thicken up the soup. Mash more beans if you want a thicker soup.
  • Adjust seasonings to taste. Add salt in small quantities until it's seasoned just right for you! I suggest starting with just a ½ teaspoon, and go from there.

Cathy's Notes: As you my regular readers know, the goal this year of 2023 is using leftovers and creating something new. I gave it the name of meal retooling. You can call it what you like! This month, I had lots of stuff that needed to be used up. My carrots were bending. The celery was on its last legs and needed to be used ASAP. I had a ham bone in the freezer and Navy Been Soup sounded simple, nutritious and filling. Voilá! It is especially good on those really cold nights! This recipe is adapted from All Recipes, and the original author was Trisha Gilkerson. I thank her for her inspiration--and I hope this gives you the inspiration to try it in your kitchen! It makes a wonderful meal. I served it with Garlic bread rounds transformed from stored frozen hamburger buns. A glass of of your favorite wine would add a very nice finishing touch! Enjoy!
And, Bon Appetite!

🍃 🍃 🍃 🍃 🍃 🍃 🍃🍃🍃🍃💜🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃
Why do I do a recipe each month? I am trying to entice you back into the kitchen--whether a first time cook, or to make the family meal fun by trying something new that may become a "keeper." We infuse energy into the food we prepare and eat. Health and fitness researcher Alan Aragon, simply and elegantly states it this way, "Every meal is . . . a short-term investment in how you perform, a mid-term investment in how you look, and a long-term investment in your freedom from disease." Food is not simply fuel; it's Love.

🍃
At the Institute of Integrative Nutrition their philosophy was cook once, eat twice. But some people it seems hate leftovers? I can't imagine. Yet with food costs soaring--I asked myself, could I retool leftovers into another meal to please--and alchemy of somethng leftover into something new and different? I begin January 2023 with a yummy turkey pot pie--made with leftovers from a thanksgiving turkey. Don't worry, it hasn't been sitting around. I cubed the leftovers and froze them. However, it could be make with chicken, ham, or roast beef. Warm and satisfying; certainly winter comfort food!

Solitary Thoughts . . .

"Light We Cannot See"

Light is winning and I know it! I can see it around me. I can feel it in my bones. And, the missteps of the offense means their old playbook is old energy—old rules and old paradigm—old thinking. They have nothing else. How do I know . . . things are changing as the consciousness moves up. I know it in my everyday interactions and everywhere I walk.

Last week, I ran into ALDI to pick up three items. (CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE)

Every Truth passes through three stages before it is accepted.  In the first it is ridiculed, next it is opposed; in the third, it is regarded as self evident.

Biological Decoding
There is definitely a mind-body connection to all dis-ease we experience. This from a growing international body of supporters. “Illness is a felt sense of that (which) has become unconscious and has entered into the biology”, says Christian Flȅche, leading researcher and practitioner in what he terms biogenealogy or what Enrique Bouron calls biological decoding. Like others’ such as Claude Sabbah, M.D. and R.J. Hamer, M.D., Flȅche explains the “activation of illness” is the body’s reaction to unresolved events—that are “frozen in time”. It essentially is a “footprint” which creates a vibrational pattern caused by extreme stress or a very significant conflict to us. These unresolved traumas, conflicts and subconscious wounds from the past can happen in this life or be carried forward from another to be healed now.

What is that small voice telling you about your symptoms and illness? What is the message between the psycho/emotional issues and that which is unresolved and affecting your health? There is a connection. There is. Deb Shapiro, author of the book, Your Body Speaks Your Mind  reminds us, communication is a two way street. But, are we willing to listen? Are you willing, to consider, rewriting the story you have told yourself or have been told?

I offer sessions, to support and guide you into these unknown, new, unexplored places and territories. Until recently, these places have been unknown to most. Now they are accessible and so can be changed for the better.  Ready to have some fun?

“When you’re healthy you have a thousand dreams,
when your ill you only have one.”
