Joe Chaddock (K-12 representative)
Joe is in his 9th year serving as the Superintendent of the SCESC. He leads a staff of over 700 in support of 22 local school districts serving approximately 65,000 kids. Joe started his career as a science teacher, held just about every administrative position in the schools, including Superintendent of Minerva Local prior to joining the ESC.
Joe is married to his high school sweetheart, Susan, has four kids, and still resides in his hometown of Minerva.
Dr. Tim Collins (higher ed appointee)
Prior to his appointment as the seventh President of Walsh University in 2019, Dr. Tim Collins served in executive leadership at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and prior to that as a senior officer in the United States Air Force. Currently, he serves his community on the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce Board, Stark Economic Development Board, and Stark Educational Partnership Board. He also serves as the Secretary and sits on the Executive Committee of the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges (OFIC).
Dr. Jean Paddock (workforce at-large representative)
Jean took office in January 2018 as the second resident of Aultman College. Prior to this role, she served as the vice president of academic affairs, where she led all academic activities of the college. She brings a background of academic research in the physical sciences, a teaching career that spans high school and collegiate education, and higher education leadership that is grounded within a health system-affiliated college.
Born and raised in Dover, Jean loves her work as an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist and you can find her adventuring in life with her husband, Thomas, and two dogs.
