Reflecting on the 2022 KNN Conference

Last week, hundreds of individuals from across the country gathered in Milwaukee for the KNN’s first national conference, “Connect, Convene, Catalyze Toward Flourishing.” The gathering offered a unique opportunity to recognize and learn from transformational work that is shifting the culture of medicine to evaluate flourishing and purpose.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all whose efforts made this event possible, including the Kern Family Trust and the Kern Family Foundation; the KNN board, past and present; our seven founding member schools; the KNN program office and conference planning committee; and our partners, presenters and participants.

The level of energy and inspiration was palpable throughout the conference, with many colleagues reuniting in person after a long stretch apart and others forming new connections based on shared goals. We are excited to share information on key themes, how to access materials and ways to keep the conversation going in our next issue.

In the meantime, you can get a preview by accessing a digital viewbook of the KNN Gallery Wall, a conference display that brought the history, achievements and future direction of the KNN to life.

As we look to our next phase of work, we invite each of you to continue the journey with us and join the movement toward flourishing in medicine.

With gratitude,

The KNN Team
