Due to Joe Sinico’s resignation as Chair, West Side Dems is having an election. Vice Chair Dorothy Wilkinson has stepped up as Acting Chair, leaving the office of Vice Chair open. Ivan Pfeifer has temporarily accepted that role.
Our Bylaws specify that an election must be held to fill those offices until the next regular election in May, 2025.
Members who are in good standing (dues up to date) are eligible to run for office. Any member who wishes to run for either Chair or Vice Chair can self-nominate by clicking here to email us.
Nominations will be open through March 7.
Please be sure to include your name, phone number, address, and desired office in your self-nomination email.
Ballots will be emailed on March 9 to all members in good standing. Voting will close on March 15 at 8:00pm. All voting will be done online. Results will be announced on our website on March 16.
Members who are planning to run for one of the two offices will be afforded 2 minutes to speak and 2 minutes to answer questions at our February 27 meeting.
