SHA Music Sponsorship Initiative

Sunapee Heritage Alliance introduces their new Music Sponsorship initiative at The Livery

The Sunapee Heritage Alliance (operating The Livery in Sunapee harbor) is a not-for-profit entity with a broad mission to serve the communities of the Sunapee area by providing affordable cultural events throughout the year.

Our vision is "to make the landmark Livery building the hub of Sunapee harbor and the greater Sunapee region by providing community enrichment through the arts, education, and other cultural opportunities"

The Livery offers a wide range of affordable programs for children and adults bringing culture and community to Sullivan County. The Livery also provides rental space for those who want to hold an event in a reasonably priced, lovely historic venue.

This year we began a new initiative to support our winter music series- four events offering dinner and a show for $40.00 (meeting our affordability goals). We sought sponsorships throughout Sullivan County to cover the cost of the artists, and allowed those wonderful sponsors to select a charity to which proceeds from the concert would be donated.

This week's sponsor of the concert by Slim Volume is Harding Hill Farm who has chosen Full Circle Farm in Newport as their designated charity. Our sponsor for the January event was Bob Skinner's Ski and Sport who selected the Sunapee Central Elementary School's Winter Activities Program as the charity recipient. Sponsors for our March and April events are Carroll Concrete and LaValley Building Supply who have chosen to provide scholarship opportunities to Newport's Teen Adventure Trips and Summer Day Camp respectively as their designated charity recipients.

Thank you for your support of our program and we hope to see you again very soon as we continue to fulfill our mission to provide affordable community enrichment for all within the Sunapee region.
