Lack of awareness is often cited as a major barrier for the co-op movement, on matters ranging from post-secondary education to co-op conversions, which makes it worthwhile to dig a little deeper into the issues at hand.

CWCF is pleased to announce that the group which received the 2022 Young Adult Arts and Culture Grant has completed its work: translating the co-operative anthem “Bi Hanka” (originally written in the Basque language) into English.

Introducing the Co-op Conversation Guidebook!
iMOVe (In My Own Voice Arts Association) of Halfax is working on building inclusive economies with unique, culturally-appropriate learning opportunities about how co-operation and the co-op model can be used to solve problems in marginalized and racialized communities. iMOVe has recently developed the Co-op Conversation Guidebook is an introductory level guide, designed specifically to be culturally appropriate for a BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Persons of Colour) audience.
