Lenten Devotional Guide

Man of Sorrows, People of Joy

is available for pickup

"In Man of Sorrows, People of Joy, (a Lenten Devotional Guide from the Lutheran Hour Ministries) we learn how God through Jesus reconciled the world to Himself (see 2 Corinthians 5:19). Taking on our humanity, Jesus - God in the flesh - defeated sin, death, and the devil on the cross. This was sealed by the Heavenly Father with Christ's resurrection victory on Easter Sunday. Now we have our own orders to follow: Go and share this Good News with the whole world." Lent 2024 begins on Ash Wednesday, February 14 as does our devotional guide. If you would like one mailed to you, please contact Louise Dye.

Meeting of the Congregation

Sunday, February 25

following worship

The Congregation of Highland Presbyterian Church will hold its annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, February 25, following worship. Please plan to attend this meeting, receive your 2023 in Review report, and enjoy outstanding fellowship over a soup and salad lunch. It's as easy as apple pie! (You'll never guess what's for dessert.) While your contributions for our meal functions are always appreciated - this time we've got this. We just need YOU to plan to stay for the meeting. If you have any business to bring up at the meeting, please let Louise Dye know.
