The Sky and Ocean Aren’t the Only Way to See Inspiring Blues in Laguna in 2024

The Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center has stepped up to preserve one of America’s most powerful and influential art forms, by providing a memorable OC haven for national touring blues legends.

The LBCAC offers its intimate listening room, stellar acoustics, state-of-the-art sound system and a host town recognized as one of the nation’s leading arts-centric resort destinations.

Luke Pytel Band

Known for his fiery guitar playing along with his solid vocals and high energy blues. When you catch his band, be ready to interact with him and sing along as you will be a part of the show!

Over 17 years, Luke has backed up many artists at Blue Chicago including, Shirley Johnson, Big Time Sarah, Nellie Travis, Grana Louise, Laretha Weathersby, Claudette Miller and Sheryl Youngblood. In addition, Luke has performed with local and national legends of the blues: Jimmy Johnson, Chico Banks, Big James Montgomery and Buddy Guy to name a few. 

Luke, now leading his own band for the past 13 years, will bring you the sounds of old school blues, contemporary blues, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert King and many more! 

Having been fortunate to travel the world, Luke has performed in Belgium, France, England and Latvia to name a few.  He is a gifted and popular performer and a valuable addition to the lineup at Blue Chicago!
