HOVC Scouter Newsletter | February 16, 2024

Shout out to the Webelos of Cub Scout Pack 706! Their den recently collected and donated food, laundry detergent, trash bags, and other supplies to the Hanover Humane Society. In return, they were given a tour of the facility and learned about the good work HHS does in our community. Great job, Scouts!

Cub Scout Summer Camp - Open Now for Registrations!

One of the most rewarding and character-building things a family can do together is go camping. Bring your Scout to a session at Cub Adventure Camp, where we offer a 4-day, 3-night experience for Cub Scouts this summer! You can attend as a family or just as a parent/Scout pair. Meals are served in our air-conditioned Dining Hall, and you can stay in our Tent Village or in a Western Frontier Fort, Yurt, or Cabin.

Calling All Radio Scouters, and Scouts Interested in Radio

The FCC Amateur Radio Service and Scouting share a common mission: service to others. The Camp TBS ARC club was formed in 2019 while the affiliated operating station was constructed. The station is located at Camp T. Brady Saunders. The goal of this project is to provide a space for STEM programs in radio and teaching the Radio Merit Badge. Membership is informal and offered to BSA registered youth and adult volunteers at no cost.
