The March for Israel is a statement of solidarity against antisemitism and a call for the freedom of the hundreds of hostages captured by Hamas that are still missing. Come together to show the world that our voices together are stronger than what divides us.

» Date & Time: Tuesday, November 14, 2023 | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Gates open 10:00 AM). Please plan to arrive as early as possible to go through security screening! 


» Getting to the March: Parking for cars and buses will be extremely limited and far from the rally site. Participants are strongly encouraged to take public transportation in groups to the Mall. The Olam Tikvah parking lot is available on Tuesday as a central meeting point for those organizing their own groups traveling together. The event entrance will be on 12th St NW on the National Mall. The closest Metro stop is Smithsonian Station on the blue/orange/silver line.

» Greater Washington Central Meeting Point: To connect with others from across DC, MD, and Northern VA and pick up rally signs, meet in front of the Smithsonian National Museum of American History (south side, closest to the Mall on Madison Drive NW). Federation will coordinate here from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, moving in shifts to go through security.


» Security: All Federal and local law enforcement agencies are coordinating to secure this event, as are Federation’s partners, Secure Community Network (SCN). The perimeter will be secured and there will be security checkpoints to enter the event area. To speed up your security screening, please bring only essential items and paper signs. Flag poles and signs on sticks will NOT be permitted in the event area.


» Can I bring a backpack or bag into the event space? Yes, you are welcome to bring a small bag or backpacks into the event. (NOTE: suitcases/luggage will not be permitted).


» Can we bring signs and/or wear shirts to the event? Yes, feel free to bring signs to the event space. Please note that paper signs are allowed, but stakes/poles/sticks/posts are prohibited. Feel free to design and wear t-shirts for your community.


» Food: Participants are encouraged to bring food and water into the event area. Food and beverages will NOT be provided or available for purchase within the event area.
