The Glades Initiative's Food Pantry is available to anyone in need. Residents may come in once per week at any time during the hours listed below. In a “Pantry of Choice”, you choose the foods that you want and need (within guidelines).

The Frog Prince Auditions at the Dolly Hand
Auditions will be held for the Missoula Children's Theatre’s production of “The Frog Prince” on Monday, September 26 at 4pm. Office of Community Revitalization's In-CROWD Free University
The Office of Community Revitalization is pleased to inform the CCRT communities that there are a number of classes available for you to participate in. OCR is directing your attention to the two classes. The Food Service class offers training on becoming a waiter or a chef. Upon successfully completing the course, you will be offered an opportunity of employment at the number of restaurants owned by Rodney Mayo, SubCulture. The STEM Star Math Tutoring/Mentoring Program will provide assistance high school math. This is an excellent opportunity to sign-up for math tutoring free of charge.

Be a Volunteer Tutor - Literacy Coalition Volunteer Tutor Training
The Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County is seeking volunteer tutors to work one-on-one with elementary school students during school hours at selected elementary schools throughout Palm Beach County, including Belle Glade and Canal Point. Time required: 90 minutes twice a week or partner with another volunteer to tutor 90 minutes once a week. Training is required and is provided by the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County.

This online tool was created to connect individuals seeking food resources to sites near them. Information is English, Spanish, and Creole. United Way updates the information listed on this map weekly. However, locations and hours of distribution may change. Brumback Primary Care Clinics. This recognition means the clinics are ranked among the top 10% of health centers nationally for best overall clinical quality measure (CQM).

In Need of Masks? Contact The Glades Initiative, Inc.
If you or people you know need masks, The Glades Initiative has masks and will share them with anyone in the Glades who needs them. These are the white two-ply reusable washable masks given by the health department. Call or come by to pick them up as long as supplies last.
If you are with a group of vulnerable people and need more than 20, call us first and we will do our best to help you get what you need.
