Ode to the OLLI at MSU Volunteers

I have said this before, and it remains true; our many successes are thanks to your thoughtful enthusiasm for lifelong learning.

It is inspiring to work alongside each of our talented and dedicated volunteers as we continue to serve a growing audience of curious adult learners.

Thank you for your assistance in kicking off this semester with a fun and informative Reception, identifying instructors, serving as volunteer program ambassadors, presenting, greeting, and, yes, even stuffing envelopes. We are off to a strong start in 2023 with the highest enrollment and membership ever.

Another fact: we couldn't do it without you!

In gratitude,

Bobbi and Jessica

Exploring Rural Communities in Montana's Central Plains

Registration opens March 1 and closes April 3

Central Montana is one of the most deeply rural places in America. In the communities of Lewistown, Winnett and Roundup, OLLI travelers will meet and learn first-hand from community members about a range of perspectives and strategies for land use, conservation, ranching and community vitality. The trip departs on May 23 and returns on May 25. Click or tap here for more information.

Centennial Valley and Red Rock Lakes

Registration opens March 1 and closes April 3

This trip offers a thorough overview of the Centennial Valley's significant natural and cultural aspects. Participants will learn about and meet individuals who live in and manage this pristine ecosystem, including cattle ranchers, the Centennial Valley Association's Range Riders, and managers of non-profit organizations such as the Montana Nature Conservancy and the Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge. There will be two overnight stays at the University of Utah's beautiful Taft-Nicholson Center in the heart of the Centennial Valley. The trip departs on July 5 and returns on July 7.
