April 22, 2023
The CCC Foundation will host our annual interactive fundraising event on April 22nd at Patriot Hall on the Lexington Campus. Twenty-two departments and programs at the college have confirmed participation with booth activities to showcase and share the magic of learning at CCC. Our CCC Foundation Student and Alumni Engagement Committee and Associated Student Government are also collaborating on a photo booth for attendees to participate with as well.

In addition, from April 17-23, we will host an online auction. The auction catalog will open for viewing on March 15. Stay tuned for more details!

Funds raised from Share the Magic will help reduce financial barriers for CCC students working to complete certificate and degree programs.

We invite you to Share the Magic with us as a Sponsor, Community Partner, or by attending the event. Only 300 tickets are available. Secure yours today!

Click below to join our team or contact the Foundation Office for more information.

Thank you to everyone who has already confirmed support for our 2023 event.
With your help, we can ensure more CCC students have the opportunity to succeed!

Recipient Testimonials
Noelle Johnson -Nursing Student
"Being a recipient of the 2022-23 Magic Opportunity Fund fills me with a sense of gratitude and renewed hope for the future.
This award will help to alleviate some of the financial burden associated with being a college student so that I can worry less about money and focus on what’s most important, studying and raising my daughter.
I look forward to becoming a nurse one day so that I can help people in need just as you have so generously helped me."
Desiree Meiniger -Business Student
"After being home with my children for over five years, attending university seemed out of reach financially.
As a non-traditional student, I am ineligible for many of the scholarships typically available. The Magic Fund Scholarship aided my journey by giving me financial breathing room.
Now, I can enroll in the necessary classes without considering the expense.
I am thankful for The Clatsop Community College Foundation and their choice to assist me with my education, thus supporting my children."

Community Partner Showcase
At the December Holiday Party hosted by the Port of Astoria, $1,370 was raised to support the CCC maritime program.

We appreciate the creative fundraising from the Port of Astoria to include support of the CCC Maritime program as a beneficiary. Examples of how this gift can impact CCC students:
  • Purchase waterproofs ($300-400 each) for up to 4 students.
  • Or 12 credits (1 full term) of tuition.
Have an idea of how to partner with the CCCF in support of students?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE
Susan Bartlett, CCCF Board Director 2011-2022
"Education has always been a very important aspect of my life. Having worked as an elementary teacher for 32 years, I was honored to have been asked to join the Clatsop Community College Foundation board of directors in July 2011 and continue to be involved in the education of others.
In 2012 I joined the Executive Committee as secretary and continued to serve consecutively as Vice-Chair, Co-Chair, Chair and Past Chair as well as having been an active member on each committee until my resignation in November 2022."

"It has been an honor and a privilege to have been of service to such a valuable and outstanding organization. I look forward to watching the CCC Foundation continue to grow and serve the students of Clatsop County and beyond in the years ahead."
