Pay reduced electric rates or get a bill credit

Energy Wise is what we call our voluntary programs for heating, cooling, electric water heating, and electric vehicles where participants allow us to cycle their electricity for specified periods in exchange for bill credits or a lower rate. Enjoy saving without sacrificing comfort, plus reduce the amount of wholesale power the co-op needs to purchase. When this happens, we pass the cost savings on to our members.

Rebates of $25 to $500 are available to members who purchase qualified electric energy-saving appliances, HVAC heating and cooling units, Wi-Fi thermostats, electric vehicles, pool pumps and more. See what qualifies

Take 10 minutes to complete a free home assessment using the MyEnergy Xpert tool which will suggest potential programs, rebates, and incentives. Plus you can always call 952.492.2313 or 800.282.6832 to speak with an energy specialist or member service rep who can suggest energy solutions.

Is going green your thing?

MVEC's energy portfolio includes renewables, but if you wish to go above and beyond, you can purchase Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) to further offset your usage and carbon footprint.

Set up SmartHub account

SmartHub, your free account management tool, lets you monitor your electric usage, pay your bill, receive notifications, enable outage texting, and stay in contact with MVEC using the app or web portal. SmartHub can be accessed from any page of MVEC's website.
