We have returned the SVdP Donation basket to the front of the altar steps. You are invited to bring your donations forward during the offertory which will be included in the blessing of the gifts. This is a great way for children to be more involved in Mass while also helping those in need. CLICK HERE for list of needed items.

PARTNERS IN THE GOSPEL
Thank you to everyone who attended one of our Information Meetings last weekend. There are still two more opportunities to learn more about this new strategic and pastoral plan for the Archdiocese, which will have significant implications for parishes, including OLG. Tonight, Thursday, February 2, 6:30-7:15 pm by ZOOM and next Wednesday, February 8, 6:30-7:15 pm also by ZOOM. You can find more information on our parish WEBSITE PAGE, including a Q & A of frequently asked questions, the most recent update from the Archdiocese, and the opportunity to leave comments or ask questions of our Leadership Team.
IMPORTANT NEWS
REFLECT & RENEW: ENCOUNTERING CHRIST DURING LENT

Lent begins on February 22nd. This holy season provides a wonderful opportunity to grow in our relationship with Jesus and with each other (especially coming out of the pandemic and entering into the Archdiocesan’s strategic planning process for parishes). You are invited to participate in a five-week, parish-wide series designed to build closer relationships in the parish and foster a deeper appreciation for Scripture. Small groups will gather in parishioners’ homes, at the parish, or by Zoom to pray and reflect on the Gospel for the upcoming Sunday’s Mass.
  • Facilitators will be trained to lead prayer and faith sharing with the RSVP format of Ritual, Sharing, Verse and Prayer
  • All who sign up will be matched with a group to meet weekly throughout Lent to pray, share and grow together in community
  • Anyone can form their own group—resources and support provided!

LET’S KEEP OLG STRONG THROUGH SCRIPTURE, PRAYER, AND COMMUNITY!
Welcome Kelley!
We are very excited to share the good news with you. After four months as the interim Outreach Minister, Kelley MacKenzie has decided to become our permanent Pastoral Assistant for Social Outreach. Our parish is truly blessed by her many gifts, including her passion for social justice, her ability to help organize and build relationships among ministries, organizations and people, her longtime involvement here at OLG, her ability to speak Spanish, and most importantly, her strong faith. She also has a strong commitment to support Young Adult Ministry. Now that we are in a time of uncertainty and upcoming transition due to the Partners in the Gospel strategic and pastoral plan, her commitment to strengthening relationships within our parish community through outreach ministries are needed now more than ever.

Welcome to the Guad Squad Kelley!!
THANK YOU OLG FOR A SUCCESSFUL SIMBANG GABI!
NO FEBRUARY SUNDAY ENVELOPES WILL BE MAILED OUT
