Africa No Filter’s Kekere Storytellers Fund - Micro-grants for emerging storytellers who are already creating and publishing unique and compelling content that offers fresh and alternative perspectives of Africa, to show a continent that’s innovative, evolving, and creative. For youth under age 35. Applications accepted on a rolling basis.

Youth4Ocean EU Young Ocean Advocates - Showcase your project, participate and pitch your ideas in European events, connect with mentors, network with leading experts, participate in working groups along with stakeholders and decision-makers to address ocean challenges, and benefit from leadership resources to make a positive change. Ages 16-30. Open call throughout the year.

Youth Jury for the World Green City Awards 2024 - The Youth Jury will select from the 21 finalists in the AIPH World Green City Awards 2024 the top entry most likely to inspire the youth and fulfill their needs for a secure, healthy future. Ages 18-35. Time commitment during March/April.

GDF Conservation and Communities Fellowship - An online and in-person Fellowship for leaders of Global South grassroots organizations working at the intersection of biodiversity and livelihoods. Apply by September 17.

#Art4Resilience: Knowledge Into Use Awards - A unique opportunity to ignite resilience, celebrate creativity, and embrace innovation in engaging with the latest resilience evidence. Prizes of 100,000 Swedish Krona will be awarded to the winners across three categories. Apply by 17 September.

Request for Information on Equitable Delivery of Climate Services - The U.S. Department of Commerce requests additional input on how to enhance NOAA's delivery of climate data, information, science, and tools and ensure that this delivery is equitable and accounting for the needs and priorities of a diverse set of communities as they engage in climate preparedness, adaptation, and resilience planning. Submit public comments by 21 September.

Break Free From Plastic Youth Ambassador Program - A capacity-building and networking program that equips young people with knowledge to organize campaigns against plastic pollution nationally and internationally. Ages 16-30. Apply by 22 September.

Youth Climate Justice Fund - Supports core flexible funding to emerging youth climate justice collectives. Groups can apply for a grant of up to USD 10,000, which can be used for a period of 12 months. Ages 35 and under. Apply by 24 September.

Endangered Species Essay Project - Students in grades 3-12 are invited to submit essays about endangered species to a special nationwide essay collection, in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Endangered Species Act. Submit by 1 November.

Our Shared Ocean Mobility & Travel Grants - This award provides for attendance by students and early-stage researchers from eligible Small Island Developing States to present their marine research at international Conferences/Workshops. Maximum 2,000 Euro per award. Apply by 3 November.
