When animals need special care on their road to a new home, they depend on YOU!

Sam arrived at Windham County Humane Society after spending his entire life with a family. This was quite a stunning lifestyle change for this gentle guy. He was timid and showed little interest in meeting with adopters. He was also slightly overweight, wheezed when walking, and had nasal discharge.

Caring for animals with special needs can be costly, and finding them a new, loving home can take longer than usual. 

Here’s the good news: when you raise your paw during our 2x Matching Gift Summer Challenge, your donation will be DOUBLED!

Sam’s new leash-on life started with the expert care you provided. The proper diet, dental cleaning, and socialization helped him develop into one of our most dynamic pups. 

Today, SAM has a new family who loves his playful nature.
