Giving Tuesday
Thank you!
Because of you, we raised over $18,000 on Giving Tuesday in support of your nine county parks. Thanks to the generosity shown on Giving Tuesday, we will be able to continue our work caring for the parks that care so deeply for us through improvements, conservation and restoration efforts such as stream water monitoring, tree and wildflower plantings, historic shelter renovations and so much more. Thank you for being our people for the parks!

November Blog Post - The Parks Need All of Us!
Tory, a year-round park user and trail enthusiast, loves her parks. Through Tory's @torytalkstrails exploration of our park trails and by helping others find their favorite trail, she is growing awareness for our nine county parks and the 200 miles of trails they offer.
Tory’s weekend hikes help make up the 23 million visits our parks receive every year. Visits to the county parks increased by 12.5% since 2016, demonstrating that our parks need more care than ever to ensure they continue to thrive and remain accessible to everyone who wishes to enjoy them.
“One of the first things I noticed when I started hiking was how many different uses the parks have for so many different types of people! Families playing sports, endurance athletes mountain biking, senior walking groups—there are always people coming together in the parks.”

Support Your Parks with a Year-End Contribution!
This season, consider investing in the health of our local park ecosystems, the protection of species and the preservation of park biodiversity. Your support can empower initiatives that combat deforestation, promotes sustainable practices, and advances both the knowledge of our parks and the connections between them.
We hope that you will put the Parks Foundation at the top of your priority list when choosing who to support with your year-end contribution.
