The Missouri Balance of State Continuum of Care has been chosen by the NEAH (National Alliance to End Homelessness) for a significant grant initiative. We're spearheading a project to enhance the assessment and aid process for individuals experiencing homelessness.
This involves an in-depth analysis of CES (Coordinated Entry System) data to refine methods for identifying and supporting those most in need. This undertaking includes establishing a Community Action Board to develop a new assessment tool, followed by rigorous evaluation. Collaborating with esteemed institutions such as UNC and USC, they'll use Machine Learning analysis to delve into data patterns and outcomes, striving to advance strategies for aiding this vulnerable population.
To ensure the success of this initiative, we're seeking the valuable insights and contributions of case managers and clients in developing innovative tools. Participation in this effort is pivotal. We need expertise and firsthand experience to shape the tool to make a meaningful impact.
Stay tuned for further details on how you can actively contribute to this vital project. Your involvement will play a crucial role in transforming the way we support individuals facing homelessness.
