COMMUNITY: 
A community is a group of people who have an interest, goal, passion, attitude or purpose that they share in common. Belonging to a community gives members a sense of security, safety and belonging. As the global world becomes more complex and people feel more isolated, it is important for people to have a place where they feel a connection to others and where they receive emotional, social and intellectual support. Feeling welcome and part of a community is akin to receiving a big group hug.
Teachers and staff members will be emphasizing community throughout the month of September. Students who demonstrate "community" will be acknowledged during the assembly on Sept. 30 and given a
Mustang Code "Community" bracelet.
Hot Lunch Ordering is Ready to GO!
96th St. Campus Only - Hot lunch ordering is ready to go! We have delicious vendors to choose from: Dos Familias, Panera Bread and Vicinos. We will be adding more vendors soon.
Follow these simple steps: There is a one time per school year registration fee of $15 to cover the cost of the boonli hosting site. Make sure your child's classroom profile is correct. This menu is for 96th street only.

If you choose not to participate in the hot lunch options please have your child pack a nutritious lunch, we do not allow candy, candy bars or soda of any kind. We do not allow any meal delivery services for your child.

After School Enrichment Classes
  • After school Enrichment classes will start in September. Flyers for Chess and Dance have been sent home and the signup links are below. An email for Cheer as been sent out and the signup link is below. More classes will be starting in October.

IMPORTANT DATES & REMINDERS
FRIDAYS - look for classroom & curriculum updates from your child's teacher every Friday.

Every Friday is EARLY RELEASE 1:00 p.m. dismissal. Refer to your child's car line time. (1st-8th grades only)
  • 1:00 - 1:15 4th-8th grades and siblings
  • 1:15 - 1:30 1st-3rd grades

Spirit Assembly - Every Friday 8:00 a.m. sharp - don't be late to school. SPIRIT DAYS! There will be one spirit day each month. Please review the 2022-23 calendar and mark them down.

REMINDERS regarding absences and early pick up:
  • If your child will be absent, is sick, will arrive late or will need to be picked up early, please email the office office@missionmontessori.com
