The new buyer of the home wanted to change out the vanity in the hall/guest bath but the plumbing was coming out of the floor. She wanted a floating chunky counter top but that meant the pipes would show.

AFTER!

Putting a fake wall in front of the plumbing was the solution for this project. Some people need visuals to help move them forward. I showed her that she could make a fake wall underneath (matching the baseboard is key) that would hide the plumbing but still provide access to the pipes. Elongating the selections like the mirror and the sconces really filled in the space and made it feel more grand. Painting the wall behind the vanity gives some contrast to the mirror and accentuates the tall ceiling while at the same to feeling cozier.
