Toddler/Children's House Parent Education Event
Dear Toddler and Children's House Families,

Kasia, Cassandra, Brittany, and Priya invite you to join them on Thursday, September 21, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. as they share information about the first plane child.

The topic for the evening is "Supporting Independence for the First Plane Child." During this time, the teachers will briefly explain the Planes of Development and some fundamental principles of Montessori education, including Freedom within Limits, the Prepared Environment, and Independence. They will also share helpful tips on easily incorporating these basic principles into your everyday lives to support your child's inner need and want for independence.

Have a question about how to organize your child's toys? How to start promoting independence? How do we set freedom within limits? This is a great time to ask, and we invite you to come with any questions.

If this topic is already familiar, we still invite you to come. You may want to share your firsthand experiences that have or have not worked with your Montessori child. Your fellow parents who are new to this journey always welcome and appreciate your expertise and tips.
Childcare for Thacher students only will be offered from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Registration is required by Tuesday, September 19.

Please note that this is an adult-only event.
