WELCOME to the new school year! We hope you are excited to begin the school year as we are! The road ahead holds the promise of new beginnings and opportunities to adapt and learn in new ways. We hope to be a resource for you throughout your child’s K-12 educational journey! We welcome your help in making vital, impactful programs available to district students.
-
Who is the Foundation? For 35 years, the Issaquah Schools Foundation has been making a difference in the lives of students and their families in the cities of Issaquah, Sammamish, Newcastle, Bellevue, and Renton. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which began in 1987, we have contributed more than $13 million to support educational opportunities in our community, funding programs for all 26 schools and 20,000 students in the district.
-
What do we do? Our mission is clear -- drive resources district-wide to help students reach the promise of their potential. We strive to be the unifying organization that enables the Issaquah School District to provide access to exceptional opportunities district-wide that ignite learning, improve educational outcomes, and prepare all students to be confident, competent, and engaged citizens.
-
How do we do this? With your volunteerism and funding support, we can continue to implement impactful and innovative programs to meet the ever-changing needs of our students, families, and educators.
Thank you for helping to build a foundation for great schools and a great community! We invite you to learn more about the Foundation and how TOGETHER we can make a difference for every child. To learn more about the Foundation, donate or volunteer, visit www.isfdn.org.
