2024 LAND INVESTMENT EXPO
Less than six weeks to go before the Land Investment Expo returns to downtown Des Moines. I’ve had the privilege of serving as master of ceremonies since 2020, and come January 9, I’ll welcome NFL legend Drew Bledsoe to the stage (right).
Earlier this month, Drew welcomed me to his Doubleback Winery in Walla Walla, Washington. In addition to touring this remarkable facility — which Drew’s winemaker and partner Josh McDaniels discovered while out jogging — we tasted a delicious Pinot Noir, a 2021 Willamette Valley from Bledsoe McDaniels. It’s the first release from this recent acquisition, and it’s one of many insights on Drew’s second career that I’ll share in the winter issue of the Magazine of the American Landowner, which comes off press at the end of the year.
