School Survey:
This afternoon you will receive a COS parent survey through survey monkey. Please take a few minutes to answer the questions which will help us gather information that we can use for continued positive school growth.
Homeroom Volunteers:
Thank you to all who volunteered to be homeroom parents for the school year.
We are still in need of homeroom parents for the following grades:
Kindergarten--- Gr. 3---Gr. 6---and 8B
Homeroom parent’s primary responsibility is to coordinate special events with homeroom teacher throughout the school year. Please contact Mrs. Borally if you are willing to volunteer as a room parent for the above grades.
Author/Illustrator Series
Next week, on October 5th, author/illustrator and storyteller, Lindsay Bonilla, will be visiting our school and spending time with students throughout the day. Please see flyer in this chronicle for more information about the author and the opportunity to purchase her books.

Picture Day:
Picture Day is on Tuesday, October 11th. This is a dress-up day! We want all our students to look their very best for school pictures. If your child does not want to dress up, he/she should be in uniform. Information on ordering pictures can be found at www.ripchostudio.com . Our school password is: 2759css
Enrichment:
We are so happy to have afterschool activities offered again at COS! Thank you, Mrs. Lynn for coordinating all of these including a brand-new offering: SARCNET Amateur Radio Club. I recently learned that we are one of the only schools in the state to offer this club!
Drama club is also underway! Thank you, Mrs. Skok and Mrs. Sluzewski, for your help in organizing and supporting our young thespians.
In addition, our Power of the Pen and Power of the Pencil students are going strong!
Angel Fund:
Have you heard of the Angel Fund? This is a new opportunity to support our students!!!
Ohioans can now receive a 100% tax credit of up to $750 single or $1,500 if married and filing jointly for cash donations to the Angel Scholarship Fund.
Your donation can be directed to Communion of Saints School and will be claimed as a 100% tax credit on your 2022 State of Ohio income tax return.
