The Board of Directors of the League of Chicago Theatres is pleased to present to the League Membership the following candidates to fill current Board vacancies:

New Membership Benefit: Discounted Short Term Housing with Kasa Management!

The League of Chicago Theatres is very excited to announce a new membership benefit, a partnership on discounted short term housing through Kasa Management. League members will have access to discounted room rates on three Kasa Management properties in River North, Magnificent Mile, and South Loop to house travelling artists and collaborators.

Chicago Theatre Week is just around the corner! Help us plan and promote your show by submitting your marketing materials here! All media is welcome! Please include media credit. *Please note: Chicago Theatre Week will promote shows that are running from February 8th through the 18th. Tickets go on sale Jan. 9th.

Community Announcements

The Willa Kim Costume Design Scholarship program is now accepting applications for the 2024 round. Deadline: Friday, December 8, 2023 11:59pm ET. Two recipients will receive up to $7,500 each to be used towards tuition, registration fees, supplies and/or travel expenses over a one-year period between February 15, 2024 - February 15, 2025. International study is allowable, but the scholarship will only cover tuition, registration fees, supplies and/or travel expenses to participate in extracurricular (non-credit) training in hand-drawing and/or painting. On the Move

Ted DeLong has joined TimeLine Theatre Company as Managing Director. Ted started in September and is working alongside TimeLine Executive Director Mica Cole, Artistic Director PJ Powers, and the entire TimeLine team. He comes to TimeLine following a decade at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival as General Manager and Associate Producer, and more recently, as Woolly Mammoth Theatre’s Interim Managing Director. TimeLine announced Ted's appointment via this blog post with a Q&A, here.
