New report available from Communities for Kids

A new report is available highlighting major milestones achieved by Nebraska’s Communities for Kids (C4K) initiative: "The Early Years: Partnering with Communities to Prioritize Child Care." C4K’s mission is to partner with communities throughout the state to prioritize the expansion and enhancement of quality early childhood care and education by identifying and addressing each community’s unique strengths and needs.

The initiative was created in response to community requests for assistance with shortages of quality early care and education programs — shortages that both impact children’s optimal development and pose a challenge for communities hoping to attract and retain the viable workforces they need to thrive.
