Well, this past weekend was just beautiful. The weather was great for the Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Manchester Road Race, and the rest of the weekend was great for all of you who got your Christmas tree to start your holiday decorating.



As of right now the weekend forecast doesn’t look promising with lots of rain predicted. But it’s New England, so wait five minutes and it’ll change!

Our Christmas Trees Are In!

For those of you who didn’t visit this weekend, our Christmas trees are in! We have a great selection of trees ranging in sizes from 1’ to 8’. We did have some larger ones and they sold quickly, but we’re hoping to get a couple more soon (fingers crossed).

Like I’ve said in the past, we’ve used the same grower for years and we really like their fir trees—we offer Fraser Fir, Balsam Fir and Silver Fir. We like to sell firs because they hold their needles the longest. With a fresh cut on the bottom and plenty of water, they say that firs can last up to 5 weeks in a house.

Now, if they are put near a heat source or if the room is typically a hotter room, this could change, especially if they run out of water. Cut trees normally drink a lot of water, about 2 quarts a day at least, and this also depends on the size. Larger trees can drink a gallon a day.

We do not recommend any additives—fresh cut and plenty of water works the best. So hurry in and pick out the perfect tree for your home. If you need help, we have a great group of guys covering the tree yard all weekend long, and they’re happy to help you pick out the best tree!

Custom Wreaths And Planters

Lauren has been working very hard decorating all of our wreathes and seasonal arrangements. We have wreaths from 12” to 36”, double-face balsam. We have lots of decorated wreaths, and she loves to make custom ones too. Just pick out your size, bow, and decorations, and she will get it done!

We have seasonal planters in many different sizes and all types of containers to choose from. There are plenty of seasonal cedar log planters, plus plenty in different types of pots and containers to fit whatever your need might be.



Just like with our wreaths, Lauren is happy to make a custom planter for you. If you have a container, you’d like us to use, feel free to bring it in and we’ll happily fill it with greens and decorations for you.

Weekends tend to be busy, so if you’re looking for something custom, plan to shop early or place an order in advance to make sure you get what you want when you’re ready.

For Your Outdoor Decorating

Looking to do some outdoor decorating? We have fresh white pine roping or white pine with cedar mix. They are 25’ rolls and look great on a light post or around your door entrance.



We also have some beautifully decorated kissing balls. They look really nice hanging from hanging basket hooks by your front door. We also stock some pretty outdoor lights for decorating and lighting up your homes.

Holiday Plants Are Here Too

As always, our greenhouse is stocked with a lots of holiday plants. The garden center staff has been hard at work making up some nice Christmas Dish Gardens. They make great table arrangements or a lovely hostess gift.

Take A Dip While You're Here!

This weekend we’ve brought back our Halladay’s Harvest Barn Dip mixes. We’ve restocked our selection of mixes, bringing back some old favorites and some new mixes. Halladay’s Harvest Barn is located in Vermont, and we really like carrying their mixes.

We plan to have samples on the weekends through December! Come try something new over the weekend and check out what’s new from Halladay’s Harvest Barn.



If you’re shopping for a gift for a foodie and found a few things you like, you can have our staff put together a gift basket with all your mixes. The wrapping is done for you!
