Downtown Trick-or-Treating is a community favorite with activities, games, and candy. We look forward to seeing all of the costumes and celebrating Halloween 2022 with you!

This year, we are thrilled to offer additional games and activities in Lincoln Park. Join our community vendors from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM to enjoy the fun.

Trick-or-Treating begins at 10:00 AM and will go throughout Downtown Waterloo. Follow the Facebook Event and watch our website for a map of all the happenings!

Cheers To Small Business

In partnership with Community Main Street Cedar Falls, join us at SingleSpeed from 5:30 to 7:30 PM for Cheers to Small Business: Planning For Your Businesses Future.

Whether you are just opening a business or ready to retire, it is important to plan for your future. Join us to learn how to start creating a plan, understanding the steps you need to consider for the future, and succession planning insight.

This free, educational workshop is open to small business owners and entrepreneurs in our community.

A Run To Remember

October 8

A Run To Remember: the Kevin Dill 5k and Fun Run will be held Saturday October 8th. This event will honor of former Black Hawk County Veteran Affairs Commission Executive Director Kevin Dill while raising money for Dementia Friendly Cedar Valley, Lewy Body Dementia Association, and Waterloo's Veterans Way.

All are invited to participate with an option to compete in the timed run or take a leisurely stroll. Day of registration and check in will begin at 9 am.

Join us for live music, food vendors, a beer garden, raffle drawings, and a special program!

Just Announced: Country music recording artist, Jay Allen will be joining us for the walk and a special performance!

This year, you may sign up for a Walk at the Cedar Valley Sportsplex, Walk with the Mayor at Lincoln Park, or take 30 minutes to walk anywhere!

Do you own a small business and have interest in hosting a pop-up shop? Applications are now live to be a vendor at this years Shop Downtown Saturdays!

Main Street Waterloo is able to support downtown businesses, hang flower baskets, decorate for the holidays, host events and more because of the generosity of our community.
