ChristCare Women's Bible Study++ | |
Another record was broken September 13 in Hancock Hall when eighteen (18) women began the study of "Celebrating Sabbath". Are Sabbath and Sunday synonymous?
With the leadership of co-moderators, Barbara Curry and Betty Ladusau, and future lessons taught by others in CCWBS, you are urged to be a part of this "studious" and social group of women.
The next get-together is Tuesday, October 11, at 9:30 a.m. in Hancock Hall. Please mark your calendar to learn how to truly CELEBRATE. We will conclude with lunch at Corner Bakery (O'Connor and 114).
Questions: Barbara Curry - 972.757.7736

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. So, I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation; https://greatcyclechallenge.com/Riders/BernardManale to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
I am praying for your support to change little lives and 2022 will be the year a cure is found. Please join me in this effort to make a difference in the lives of these innocent children.
Thank you, Bernard

Would you like to take a group tour of Scotland? Would you like to travel with church members who would enjoy visiting this beautiful country, but also learning about our Christian heritage as Presbyterians? The tours offer a perfect balance of time together and space to explore on your own. We are exploring the possibility of going to Scotland as a church group in the summer of 2023!
Jim Wallace and his wife, Catherine, are native Scots and enjoying leading groups on tours of Scotland. Jim has pastored in New York and Scotland.
Please send the office an email, office@woodhavenpres.org, letting us know if you might be interested in a trip like this. If we can get 25 people or more, we can travel as a Group Tour. Please feel free to invite family members. It would be great to see if we have members of Woodhaven who would love a trip like this.
For further information, please click here here to go to their website.
Looking forward to hearing from y'all!!
