In this issue of In Circulation, we share the Drexel Libraries’ acknowledgement of October’s American Archives Month, as well as International Open Access Week, and invite readers to join us in reflecting on challenges and new strategies to keep recorded knowledge alive.

On October 22, the Libraries will host a panel discussion with three of its 2019 Library Faculty Fellows, who will share information about their work with OERs and discuss how OERs and low-cost and no-cost textbook alternatives can help Drexel students succeed.




The Drexel University Archives recently processed The Drexel Players Collection, a collection of materials related to the history of theater at Drexel.

In September 2019, the Drexel Libraries replaced furnishings on the first floor of the W. W. Hagerty Library. Two Drexel USGA student officers spearheaded the redesign proposal, which they developed based on student feedback.
