T&C Labor Day Family Fun Day

Please come join us Monday, September 4th for our second annual T&C Family Fun Labor Day and Fun Run. There is still time to register online or you may register day-of the event too. The online registration cut-off is Saturday, Sept. 2nd at midnight!

The event is public and open to the whole community. It will run from approximately 8:30AM- 12:30PM starting with the 1.5k and 3k Fun Run. Please bring your family and friends to see what we’re all about out at T&C Sports!

Labor Day Fun Run

Check-in is at 8:00 a.m. and the run starts at 8:30 a.m. near Field 1.

(use the Meadowheath parking lot- See Field Map & Directions)

There are 2 divisions to choose from:

1.) Competitive Division: $15

Includes T-shirt (Aug 25th was the cut-off to guarantee shirt size)

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age division:

5/6 Division - 1.5k Course

7/8 Division - 1.5k Course

9/10 Division - 3k Course

11/12 Division - 3k Course

(Each age division is limited to 15 runners)

2.) Open Division: No Fee ($0)

All ages - Families encouraged to run together

Participants can choose either the 1.5k or 3k course

Prizes are not awarded

Online pre-registration is highly recommended for the Open Division to complete waivers prior to the race

**Signed waiver required for ALL participants and can be done online or in-person.

People who pre-registered online will not need to sign a waiver (as they already did). Waivers will be available in-person for anyone who still hasn't signed one yet. Waivers are required for all who wish to participate.

ITINERARY/ TIMELINE

8:00AM- CHECK-IN FOR RACE

On the day of the event, enter at the 9100 Meadowheath gate and proceed to our registration check in tables. There will be 2 tables a "Pre-Registered" check-in table (for Open and Competitive division pre-registrants), and a "Register Here" table for day of registrants. You must register and sign-in to get your participation wristband for the race and other events.

8:00AM- 11AM TAKAVRON TACOS

Takavron will have their taco truck on the Meadowheath side of campus selling breakfast tacos and coffee. They accept cash, card, and Venmo.

8:30AM- RACE STARTS

We'll play the national anthem just prior to the race starting (by Field 1), and then begin our waves of runners:

7/8 Division - 1.5k Course

9/10 Division - 3k Course

11/12 Division - 3k Course

Open Division Wave

All ages - Families encouraged to run together

Participants can choose either the 1.5k or 3k course to walk, run, or stroll

9:30AM- HOME RUN DERBY

Please meet us on Field 9 and let your child practice knocking it out of the park!

10AM- 12PM EQUIPMENT EXCHANGE

If you’re interested in receiving donated equipment, we will have tables set up with the donated equipment in front of the blue office building near Field 1 and 2. Please click the equipment exchange graphic to learn more.

10:30AM- OBSTACLE COURSE

Challenge yourself at our dual obstacle course on Field 2.

11AM- 12PM- FIRE TRUCK

Please meet us on Field 1 for the Jollyville fire department visit. They will let kiddos see their truck and cool everyone off with their water hose!

11:30AM- FOOTBALL ACTIVITY

Test your football skills on Field 2.

12:00AM- FUTSAL/ SOCCER

Join us over by Field 6 at the game courts for some futsal fun!

12:30AM- FREE HOT DOGS

Come get your free hot dog while supplies last by the Snack Shack near Field 9.

ALL DAY ACTIVITIES

Going on all day activities: Skyhawks and yard games will be available to play. Come see Skyhawks Pre-K demo to learn more about what they offer. Both the yard games and Skyhawks demo will be on Field 1.
