The 2050 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) to identify transportation investments required to meet the travel demands for Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties is underway!

School District of Palm Beach County

Bicycle Trailer



The School District of Palm Beach County recently completed renovations to its Bicycle Safety Trailer to re-establish the Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Program. The bicycle trailer is made available to teach students from 3rd to 5th grade how to safely use a bike. The trailer holds more than 30 bikes to accommodate students of all ages, sizes, and abilities with six adaptive bicycles for students with different mobility needs. The trailer renovations were made possible through collaboration by AAA, Safe Kids Palm Beach County, and the School District of Palm Beach County.

2023 Park(ing) Day!

The Reconnecting Communities and Neighborhoods Grant Program focuses on prioritizing disadvantaged communities, improving access to daily needs such as jobs and education, and reconnecting communities with mobility, access, or economic development. Applications are due by Thursday, September 28.

U.S. DOT Equitable Transportation Community (ETC) Explorer is an interactive web application that uses 2020 Census Tracts and data to explore the cumulative burden communities experience as a result of underinvestment in transportation.


U.S. DOT Intersection Safety Challenge is transforming intersection safety through the development of innovative intersection safety systems that identify, predict, and mitigate unsafe conditions involving vehicles and vulnerable road users.
