Erev Ruach Shabbat / Erev Rosh Hashanah Service

This year, with Rosh Hashanah beginning on Shabbat, we're trying some a little different. We will have a new musical experience, with members of our Ruach Shabbat band joining our choir and Clergy. We're want to start the new year with uplifting music full of energy and positivity.

Join Rabbi Magat and Cantor Shafritz for an opportunity to discuss the High Holy Days. This session is open to everyone in the community, whether or not you signed up to attend our High Holy Days services. If you have ever wanted to learn about the High Holy Days, ask questions to the clergy, or were just curious about the High Holy Days traditions, this is the opportunity for you.

Tashlich

Saturday // September 16th, 5:00pm //

In Person - Oak Meadow Park, Sites 1 & 2, Los Gatos


During Tashlich, we are outside, close to nature (the water, the sun) and to God, with the ability to look up and see the heavens. After the completion of Havdalah, we will conclude our experience with our Shofar Service, as we welcome in the new year.


Bring dinner for you and your family, as we all have a picnic dinner together.

Israeli Dancing

Shabbat Shalom! Tonight is our Shabbat Shuvah, the first Shabbat of the New Year! Also, we will be hosting our Annual Board Installation, in which we recognize our new Board of Trustees and our Auxillary Boards. Come join us in the Sanctuary for this special Shabbat Service.

Sukkot

Erev Shabbat & Erev Sukkot First Night Fiesta

Come join your fellow congregants and clergy as we welcome in Sukkot with a wonderful Shabbat Service, in addition to decorating and delicious food! Our membership committee is providing a nacho bar for everyone to enjoy! This event is open to all age groups. We kindly ask that you register in advance. We can't wait to see you there!

Jew-lennials Game Night in the Sukkah

Hey there Jew-lennials! Let's continue the great fun that we had last month, with more board games tonight, except we're in the Sukkah! As part of the holiday of Sukkot, we spend time in our Sukkah, just as the Israelites did thousands of years ago. We'll have a pizza dinner, snacks, drinks, dessert and more! Everyone is invited. Scotch in the Sukkah

Join us Brotherhood for Scotch in the Sukkah and Whiskeys.Mingle with your friends under the Sukkah for a fantastic evening. A curated and delicious selection of whiskey from Scotland, United States, Japan, and India will be available for you to enjoy. Tapas appetizers and desserts will be paired with a range of flavor profiles for everyone to enjoy. Cost: $54 per person

Erev Shabbat Simchat Torah Family Service and Consecration

Friday // October 6th, 6:30pm //

Tonight begins Simchat Torah, the celebration of reaching the end of reading the Torah, and then starting over again. Traditionally, the Torah scrolls are taken from the ark and carried or danced around the synagogue seven times. Also, tonight we recognize all of our new religious school students, Kindergarten and older.

Maui Wildfire Assistance

We are so heart broken to see all of the devastation, sadness, and lives lost due to this horrific wildfire. As a Jewish Community, we have the opportunity to come together to support not only the Jewish Community in Maui, but all of those who were affected by this tragedy.
