Fall will be here before we know it! What does your business have planned for the season?
In our continuing effort to #SupportCTBusinesses, we want to share what you’re doing with residents and local visitors on CTvisit.com, social media, and through public relations.
Share what’s exciting, new, or different for fall at your property or event, including:
- Halloween happenings (e.g., haunted houses, jack-o-lantern walks)
- Seasonal favorites (e.g., pumpkin picking, leaf peeping, apple picking)
- New or unique outdoor activities or events for families and adults (e.g., country fairs, outdoor food festivals, parades, music festivals, multicultural festivals)
- New or unique indoor activities or events for families and adults (e.g., exhibits, shows, tours, art events, performances)
- Culinary offerings (e.g., outdoor dining with foliage views, seasonal specials or events)

STR: U.S. hotel results for week ending 20 August | |
U.S. hotel performance came in lower than the previous week but showed improved comparisons with 2019, according to STR‘s latest data through 20 August.
14-20 August 2022 (percentage change from comparable week in 2019*):
- Occupancy: 67.3% (-3.9%)
- Average daily rate (ADR): US$150.96 (+16.7%)
- Revenue per available room (RevPAR): US$101.59 (+12.2%)
