Campus Announcements

W Building Construction Project—Week of Sept. 25

  • Begin installation of safety controls on roof, including site lighting, temporary power and fall protection. The impact of these activities should be low/negligible.
  • In addition to the short narrative of the work planned for next week, below are infographics that detail the six-week look ahead for planned work, the expected impact of the work, and the expected area of impact.

Visible IDs on the Medical Campus

Employees and students in BU buildings must have a visible ID. If you do not have your ID, a BU person must come down to escort you into the building. Visitors need to sign in and will be given a wristband.

All Medical Campus buildings are card access only on weekends and holidays, including Intersession, and from 7 p.m.-7 a.m. weekdays.

Please wear your BU ID at all times when on campus. Do not allow others to piggyback through card-accessed doors, including stairwells and elevators; they must use their own ID.

Public safety is a shared responsibility. If you See Something, Say Something by calling BUMC Public Safety at 617-358-4444 when on campus or dialing 911 off campus.
