Happy New Year from ExquisiCare
We are excited to start a new year at ExquisiCare! The beginning of the year it is a good time to look at everything we accomplished and make goals for the upcoming year.
2022 was a great year!
We had a beautiful celebration for our 10 year anniversary where we recognized the hard work of our dedicated staff.
We implemented ExquisiCare's Everyday Excellence; a program to ensure we exemplify top tier service standards.
We welcomed our new Care at Home Care Manager, Megan!
We supported and gave back to our community in many ways. We participated in the Alzheimer's Walk, held a Bowling party with proceeds going to the Alzheimer's Society of Alberta, supported an initiative to help those affected by the conflicts in the Ukraine, volunteered to sponsor four families through the Holiday Hamper program and made contributions to the MS Campaign and the Zebra Foundation!
Honouring our Residents at ExquisiCare
At the entrance of each home, you will find a very special book. In this book there is a highlight of our residents, both past and present.
Our elders have given so much to the communities and they deserve to be honoured and commended for their years of hard work. These books of highlights lets us do just that. As we get to know them a little bit better we also grow to love them more.
Westcliff Place
Born in Edmonton in 1952, Sheilah was raised in a happy home with three siblings. She completed post-secondary school in administration and worked with her siblings to run the family business. Like her mother, she had three wonderful children- Michael, Anna and Timothy.

Sheilah enjoys knitting, cross stitching and crochet. She would often give these finished products as gifts. She enjoys watching talk shows and crime documentaries. She loves to sing and is a staple at Westcliff for her vocal talent. She is a fan of the musical group, Celtic Thunder. You can often find Sheilah on her iPad enjoying games, tv shows and puzzles.

Christmas and Easter bring joy to Sheilah. She is of the Christian faith and loves the traditions and family gatherings around these occasions. She is known as a good friend and raised her family with love.

Sheilah has regular visits from her grandchildren. It is always a joy seeing these family members in the home as they bring such vibrancy to the Westcliff environment.

She is always welcoming to anyone visiting the home and is a valued member of the Westcliff family.
Dietitian Services from Aging Well Nutrition
Let us introduce Kristen!
Kristen is a Registered Dietitian, and Owner of Aging Well Nutrition Services.
She has been a Dietitian for nearly 8 years now and has focused her time on senior nutrition and healthy aging. She has worked in long-term care centres around the Edmonton area, advocating for better access to nutrition services. Now, she is happy to serve seniors in the community, providing services that you normally could only access in long-term care. She offers in-home,
in-office, and virtual assessment services as well as meal planning.
Her ultimate goal is to ensure seniors are getting the nutrition they need to stay happy, healthy, and strong, for as long as possible.
If you are the family of a senior in the community that could use assistance with meal planning, we encourage you to reach out to Kristen.
