Dear Giraffe Nation,
I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits as we embark on Week 5 of this academic year. The journey we've embarked upon is off to a fantastic start, thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm of our students, teachers, and parents.
BOY Assessments: Building a Bridge to Success
Beginning-of-year assessments (BOY) are in full swing, and they play a vital role in shaping our approach to education. These assessments help us understand the unique needs of each student, allowing us to tailor our instruction to ensure every child reaches their fullest potential.
Celebrating Attendance: Fostering Community Through Consistency
Our community thrives on consistency, and one key element of that consistency is regular attendance. We're proud to see the commitment to learning demonstrated by our students. Attendance is not just about being physically present; it's about being actively engaged in the learning process. I want to applaud all our students for showing up ready to learn each day.
A Call for Parental Support
To maintain this positive momentum, we kindly request the continued support of our parents and guardians. Punctuality is crucial for our students' success. Being on time for instructional learning ensures that our children receive the full benefit of their education. Please make every effort to help your child arrive on time each day. If you encounter any challenges, don't hesitate to contact our school's support staff for assistance.
In the coming weeks, we will continue to work together as a close-knit community, striving for excellence in every facet of education. Our students are the future, and together, we are building a strong foundation for their success. We will be hosting our first DMA Open House on September 25 & 26. More information will be shared in next week's Gazette.
Thank you for your unwavering support, and let's make Week 5 an exceptional one —together as we Make A TALL Difference Every Day with Every Child!
